The ranking

Share is the position-weighted share of answers that recommend the business, 0 to 100, across every scored question, assistant and run in the reading. Spread is the variation between runs. Engines shows which of the scored assistants named the business at least once.

The base list: 517 immigration consulting firms in Canada with two or more licensed consultants entitled to practise, from the CICC public register (snapshot of 1 November 2026). Scores fill in after the first reading.

How this list works. (1) Firms with two or more licensed consultants entitled to practise in Canada are listed below. (2) Any licensed firm an assistant names during a capture is added and scored, whatever its size, and labelled with the assistant, date and question that surfaced it. (3) A business an assistant names that cannot be matched to a register is reported with the checks made. That is not a finding that it is unlicensed: it may practise through a lawyer or notary, or trade under a name the register does not show.

Searching for a firm or consultant not listed? The search box also checks every consultant entitled to practise in Canada on the register snapshot (10,986 people). A licensed sole practitioner shows as licensed and not on the base list.

Excluded by type. Universities, colleges, hospitals and other employers whose licensed advisers serve their own students or staff (63), and law and legal practices, which answer to a law society rather than the College (33).

Eligible but not named

After the first reading, eligible businesses that no assistant named are listed here. Not named means not named; it is not a judgment about the business.

The 17 questions we asked

Each scored question was asked three times to each scored assistant during the capture window, with no account history and no location signal beyond the question text. The branded question is reported, not counted toward the ranking.

Prompt set frozen 6 November 2026. The 16 scored questions are asked unchanged in every run; the 17th asks about each firm named, by name, and is reported, not scored.
