Request a correction

Any business, regulator or reader can ask for a correction. Requests are acknowledged within 2 business days and resolved within 10. The preserved record decides disputed cells; the published method decides disputed scores.

Every correction is logged with its date on the affected page and in the methodology's version history

Request	What the index does
Wrong entity (two names for one business, or one name for two)	Re-resolve the entity against the universe source, recompute, republish the reading with a dated note
Business wrongly included or excluded from the universe	Check against the universe source as of the capture date; correct, recompute, note
Wrong relationship disclosure	Correct immediately; note on the page
Disputed cell (business says it was or was not named)	Re-check the preserved response; the preserved record decides; the cell file is corrected if wrong
Disputed score with no factual error	No change; the method is published and the cells reproduce the score
Request to remove a business	Declined; eligibility comes from the universe source. A business that leaves the source list leaves the next reading
Request to remove an excerpt or a cited source	Reviewed within 2 business days; removed if it contains an allegation, personal information or is not factual

A corrected reading keeps its original URL; superseded figures stay visible, struck through, for 90 days. The full rule is section 10 of the methodology.
